Here is the procedure for using the waterjet starting next week
- Sign up for a time slot at http://bit.ly/2o374L
- Before going to use the machine, you must make your toolpath using the OMAX software which is installed on the PCs in 1131 GGB
- The ME250 GSI must approve the toolpath
- At your appointment time, take your .dxf and toolpath (.ord) file on a flash drive to the waterjet
- Steve Erskine or one of his assistants at the ERC will run the waterjet for you
If we run out of time or none of your team can make any of the available slots, please note this on the sheet and ask the GSI to contact Steve to make an alternate time available.
Please plan ahead; if there is empty time early in the week and a huge overflow Thursday, we will not be able to make all the parts for MS7.
